RAYE Delivers Jazz Rendition of 'Escapism' on SNL: Watch

RAYE graced the stage as the musical guest on last night’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The British singer showcased two tracks from her debut album My 21st Century Blues: the global hit “Escapism” and “Worth It.” In both performances, RAYE delighted fans with surprises. She kicked off with a Jazz rendition of “Escapism,”which earned high praise for her vocals and delivery. Later, she returned for a second performance, treating the audience to a medley of “Worth It” and a new unreleased song.

Independently released last year, RAYE’s debut album My 21st Century Blues was hailed as one of the best albums of the year. In the tracks, the 26-year-old artist delved into her personal struggles with addiction, insecurity, and misogyny.
