Taylor Swift Sang This Rihanna Song at The Eras Tour

Last night, Taylor Swift performed the second of three nights at Anfield in Liverpool, marking the 101st concert of the Eras Tour. The “Fortnight” singer thanked the crowd for making another show a sellout, saying, “Thank you for being here, whether you’re a Liverpool native or you’ve traveled to be here today!” During the night, she expressed her excitement about performing for the first time in northwest England: “This weekend is my first time playing shows in Liverpool,” she said. “I’ve been trying to make a good first impression! You’ve already made a stunning impression on me!” As usual, the night was filled with exceptional moments, with Taylor delivering incredible performances from all of her eras. When the ‘Surprise Songs’ clock struck, the crowd discovered what the pop star had in store.

The Surprise Songs segment of the second night in Liverpool left fans in awe. Taylor astonished the audience by singing a song not from her discography but from another pop icon, Rihanna. The 34-year-old started singing “This Is What You Came For,” acknowledging it was “a little bit unexpected.” The song was mashed up with “Gold Rush” from her 9th album, “Evermore.” Afterwards, she delivered another mashup of “The Great War” and “You’re Losing Me” as the second part of the Surprise Songs set. Taylor is now gearing up for the third and final concert in Liverpool tonight. She will then perform at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 18, before three shows next week at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London. In celebration of the 100th show of the Eras Tour, held on June 13, Taylor confirmed that the tour will end in December and, after the final show, there will not be any additional dates. However, there’s still a long way to go, with two months of the European leg and a second North American leg set to kick off in October.
