Sabrina Carpenter Channels Her Inner Chappell Roan Covering ‘Good Luck, Babe!’

Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan are two prominent figures in the music industry this year. While Sabrina dominates streaming charts with her global hits “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” Chappell is gradually gaining more attention. Her songs “Good Luck, Babe!” and “Red Wine Supernova” have seen a strong increase in streams, especially after her performance at the Governors Ball Festival, boosting the chart performance of her debut album, “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” which entered the top 10 on the Billboard 200.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Sabrina shared some kind words about Chappell, revealing that they met at Coachella and have since formed a strong friendship. She expressed her admiration for the 26-year-old singer: “I’ve been just as obsessed with her as everyone has,” she said. “It’s so weird when you’re hanging out as two young women as opposed to thinking about when she goes on stage and is that person and when I go on stage.”

Sabrina recently visited the BBC Radio 1 studio to record a couple of live sessions. She performed her new song “Please Please Please” from her upcoming album “Sweet n’ Short,” and then delivered a rendition of Chappell’s “Good Luck, Babe!” Fans immediately fell in love with Sabrina’s vocals on the cover. “Sabrina Carpenter’s cover of ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ is my new favorite thing,” one fan shared on X/Twitter. Another added, “Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter casually saving pop music.”
