Where is Glastonbury Festival held?

The Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts traditionally takes place at Worthy Farm in the “Vale of Avalon.” This historic site is nestled in South West England between the small villages of Pilton and Pylle in Somerset. It’s steeped in legends and spiritual traditions, including the famed Glastonbury Tor, believed to be the convergence point of ley lines—imaginary lines that connect various ancient sites.

Who is performing?

This weekend, a lineup of British stars and international icons will light up the stages. Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. Country music icon Shania Twain will grace the traditional Sunday Legends slot, which she regards as a prestigious honor. Coldplay will make history as the first act to headline Glastonbury five times, having previously done so in 2002, 2005, 2011, and 2016. Dua Lipa will headline for the first time, following two prior appearances. “I have dreamt of this moment all my life,” she shared, “it’s something that lived only in my wildest dreams.” SZA also makes her Glastonbury debut, and Seventeen will become the first K-Pop act to perform on the Pyramid Stage. Camila Cabello, with her fresh album “C,XOXO,” will bring new tunes to the Other Stage on Saturday afternoon. Other notable performers include Brit-nominated Olivia Dean, Little Simz, Ayra Starr, Cyndi Lauper, Burna Boy, Janelle Monáe, Anne-Marie, Avril Lavigne, Tems, Fontaines D.C., and London Grammar.
