Camila Cabello has released her highly anticipated fourth album, C,XOXO. Preceded by the singles “I Luv It,” “He Knows,” and “Chanel No. 5,” this album marks the beginning of a new era for the singer as she explores new musical landscapes. Producers El Guincho and Jasper Harris helped her navigate these new horizons. “That’s the music that I love, and that’s the music that I feel the most proud of making,” she shared. We’re talking about the twelfth track, “B.O.A.T.” This song, rated as the best on the album by InMusic, stands for “Best of All Time” and is a pop ballad where Camila reflects on a past breakup. The track features a sample from Pitbull’s hit “Hotel Room Service,” specifically the line “We at the hotel, motel, Holiday Inn,” which is repeated throughout the track. Pitbull’s song, released 15 years ago, also sampled notable songs such as “Push the Feeling On” by Nightcrawlers, “I Just Wanna Love U” by Jay-Z, “Nasty Girl” by The Notorious B.I.G., and “Rapper’s Delight” by Sugarhill Gang.
