Cardi B is showing major support for Tyla, and fans are loving every second of it. On December 10, the rapper posted a spontaneous Instagram Story in which she sings Tyla’s rising hit “Chanel” while getting ready. The short clip quickly spread across social media, not only for Cardi’s playful vocals but also for her striking post-pregnancy glow. One fan summed up the internet’s excitement, writing, “cardi b singing put me in chanel while serving face and BODY like she didn’t give birth yesterday… tyla please put her on the rmx ik you smart.”

Cardi begins her impromptu cover by humming the track’s sleek melody before jumping into the chorus, delivering the now-viral line, “Say you love me, put me in Chanel.”

Their connection runs deeper than casual admiration. In September, Tyla appeared on “Nice Guy,” the closing track of Cardi B’s sophomore album Am I The Drama?—a project that opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The two artists also crossed paths at Global Citizen 2025, where they both performed standout sets.

Tyla’s “Chanel,” released on October 24, continues to climb as her Afrobeats-pop hybrid sound gains broader appeal. The song reached a new peak of No. 24 on Spotify’s global daily chart this week, riding strong momentum after its debut at No. 36 on the Billboard Global 200—her highest since “Water.” It also entered at No. 1 on both the U.S. and U.K. Afrobeats charts. The single arrived with a sleek music video directed by Aerin Moreno, featuring Tyla styled in archival Chanel pieces that mirror the song’s luxury-infused mood.
