Kendrick Lamar

At the 2025 Emmys, Kendrick Lamar won Outstanding Music Direction for his Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show. He had previously earned the Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) in 2022 for his performance alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Mary J. Blige at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.



Beyoncé

On August 11, 2025, Beyoncé’s Netflix special, “Beyoncé Bowl,” secured the Emmy for “Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Programming,” marking her first Emmy win.



Lady Gaga

On May 20, 2025, Lady Gaga took home a Sports Emmy for her Super Bowl performance of “Hold My Hand.” The pop superstar is on the verge of EGOT, needing just a Tony Award.



Elton John

In January 2024, Elton John won his first Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). The legendary singer became the 19th artist to achieve the EGOT status.



Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s Emmy win came in 2015 for Outstanding Original Interactive Program for her innovative “AMEX Unstaged: Taylor Swift Experience.”



Ed Sheeran

The pop star earned his first Emmy last year, winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for the song “A Beautiful Game.”
