BTS have officially confirmed their long-awaited return as a full group. On Weverse, BIGHIT MUSIC announced that BTS’ fifth studio album, featuring 14 tracks, will be released on March 20, 2026, marking the group’s first album together in three years and nine months. The release will be followed by a new world tour, with full tour details set to be revealed on January 14 at 12 a.m. KST.

In the official statement, the label described the album as a turning point in BTS’ journey. According to BIGHIT MUSIC, all seven members played a deep role in the creative process, shaping the music with their own perspectives while reflecting the emotions, challenges, and growth they experienced during their time apart. The album is positioned as both a creative reset and a message of gratitude to ARMY, who have waited patiently throughout the group’s military hiatus.

The 14-track project is said to feature some of the most honest storytelling of BTS’ career. Rather than chasing trends, the album emphasizes music that feels “most true to BTS.” Pre-orders will open on January 16, 2026, at 11 a.m. KST, with anticipation already building across global fan communities.

The announcement aligns with recent hints from the members themselves. Jungkook, who recently appeared on the cover of ELLE Korea, sparked renewed speculation when he referred to the upcoming spring as “more important than ever,” a comment many fans interpreted as a subtle nod to the group’s comeback timeline.
