The curtain has officially risen on 2026, and the year is already shaping up to be packed with major album releases.

Beyond the opening stretch, anticipation continues to build for new projects from Zayn, Robyn, Meghan Trainor, Ye, Niall Horan, and Bebe Rexha. Several long-awaited releases are also expected to finally materialize. Drake spent much of 2025 laying the groundwork for ICEMAN, which is widely rumored to arrive in the first quarter of the year.

Lana Del Rey has also confirmed that a new record is on the way, while Olivia Rodrigo appears to be entering her OR3 era following the conclusion of the GUTS World Tour. Adding to the excitement, Madonna is set to return with the highly anticipated Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2, marking one of the most iconic comebacks of the year.

From pop to rock, from rap to reggae, from country to R&B, there is something for everyone in this diverse and exciting lineup of musical projects. Here are the most anticipated albums on the way, sorted by their release dates.
