Last night, Nicki Minaj concluded her record-breaking Pink Friday 2 World Tour, also known as the Gag City World Tour. This tour, her first in five years, supported her latest album, Pink Friday 2, and showcased Minaj’s extensive catalog of hits, from “FTCU” to “Starships.” With an estimated gross surpassing $100 million (official figures pending), the tour has become the highest-grossing concert tour ever by a female rapper.

Kicking off in March, Pink Friday 2 saw every show sell out rapidly, posting remarkable numbers along the way. At Chicago’s United Center, for example, Minaj performed two consecutive sold-out shows, drawing over 50,000 fans and grossing more than $4 million. During the first U.S. leg, Monica joined as the opening act, while the second North American leg featured Bia, Skillibeng, and Tyga. Throughout the tour, surprise guests including Fivio Foreign, Big Sean, Drake, and Cyndi Lauper made appearances.
