Rising rap star Yeat has officially revealed the full tracklist for his surprise EP, Dangerous Summer, set to drop August 1, 2025, via Capitol Records. The announcement, made with minimal fanfare, follows Yeat’s signature low-key rollout style—no singles, no interviews, just a cryptic post and a cover photo.
While the EP was first teased on July 28, Yeat kept fans guessing by holding back the full tracklist until the week of release. Now, it’s clear: Dangerous Summer will include 11 new songs, all with titles that reflect Yeat’s experimental, offbeat style.

Yeat also teased fans with a note: “ILL TELL YALL FEATS LATER,”—fueling speculation about possible surprise features. Many fans are already guessing names like Playboi Carti, but no official confirmations have been made.
Dangerous Summer arrives almost exactly one year after Yeat’s 2024 album Lyfestyle, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 89,000 units sold in its first week. That project marked a career high for the rapper, who has built a loyal fan base through streaming and unique visuals.
For Dangerous Summer, Yeat is again avoiding traditional promo. No singles have been released ahead of the drop, and there’s no word of a deluxe version. Instead, he’s counting on his fan base. Meanwhile, Yeat hasn’t stayed quiet this summer. Leading up to the EP announcement, he performed at several high-profile events, including co-headlining Summer Smash 2025 with Don Toliver, organized by Lyrical Lemonade, and joining Drake onstage at Wireless Festival in London to perform “IDGAF”, one of the standout tracks from Drake’s For All the Dogs.
