Halsey continues to keep fans on edge and tease her new album again, this time during a live. “I’m maybe finished with the album… Or maybe I’m not… Who knows?” she said, leaving fans eager to learn more about her fifth record. Speculation about a new album from Halsey has intensified in recent weeks, as the “Without Me” singer has been sharing stills and videos from the studio. Additionally, less than a month ago, the 29-year-old singer performed at Lollapalooza India, announcing just before her performance that it would mark the end of the “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power” era. During her set, a website link — formylasttrick.com — appeared on the screen behind her. Fans wasted no time scouring the website, uncovering several stickers, including a cigarette, a ghost with the inscription ‘you won’t find me here,’ and the date January 27, 2014, a clear reference to the release date of her breakthrough single “Ghost.” Additionally, fans discovered two photos believed to be related to potential cover art for Halsey’s upcoming fifth album.

Halsey’s most recent album, “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power,” was released in 2021, with the accompanying tour concluding on November 3 of the same year. The album, a concept piece delving into the complexities of pregnancy and childbirth, garnered critical praise and earned Halsey a Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. Its official cover art drew inspiration from Jean Fouquet’s painting ‘Virgin and Child Surrounded by Angels.’

In 2023, Halsey parted ways with her longtime label Capitol Records following the controversy over the single “So Good.” In 2022, the singer revealed that the label had not allowed her to release the song despite a music video being shot. Ultimately, the song was released in June 2022, and Halsey signed a recording deal with Columbia Records the following year.
