As the countdown to Ariana Grande’s seventh studio album “Eternal Sunshine” continues, anticipation among fans is reaching its peak. In a new interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music, the popstar discussed her highly anticipated album and disclosed her personal favorite tracks from the record. Surprisingly, the album’s lead single “Yes, And?” didn’t make it into Ariana’s top 3. Instead, she revealed that her favorite songs are “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait For Your Love),” “Imperfect For You,” and “Eternal Sunshine.”

During the 30-minute conversation with Zane Lowe, Ariana delved into the inspiration behind some of the album’s tracks. She shared that the song “True Story” was inspired by an untrue narrative, setting the stage for “The Boy Is Mine.” This track, a rendition of Brandy & Monica’s hit song of the same name, serves as a bold anthem, “It [“True Story”] is an untrue story based on all untrue events. It sets up “The Boy Is Mine.” It’s kind of like, ‘ok, I’ll play the bad girl, now here’s your bad girl anthem,’ that’s why they’re in that order in the tracklist,” she said.
Ariana expressed the significance of “Eternal Sunshine,” revealing that it marks the first time she felt fully present and able to enjoy the creative process.
