Taylor Swift Kicks Off European Leg Of The Eras Tour: Here’s The New Setlist

Taylor Swift has returned to the road after a two-month hiatus and kicked off the European leg of the Eras Tour in Paris, France. “I see the reactions from this crowd,” the pop star said, “it makes us want to show you all kinds of fun surprises.” In fact, before the show even began, a new intro debuted featuring new visuals, the title track from “The Tortured Poets Department,” and the lyric “What if I told you I’m back?” from “The Alchemy.”

With the Eras Tour, Taylor celebrates her musical journey, showcasing the evolution of her sound and style across different periods of her career. There was a lot of anticipation surrounding the beginning of the European leg, especially since Taylor recently released her highly anticipated eleventh album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

After the unparalleled success of the North American, Latin American, and Asian & Australian legs, The Eras Tour now visits Europe, starting with four shows in Paris, France. Taylor immediately surprised the crowd with a new red bodysuit for the “Lover” era. Several other outfits debuted during the show, including a new “Fearless” dress, a shirt with the writing ‘This Is Not Taylor’s Version’ while performing “22,” and a new “Speak Now” gown. Some songs performed during the first legs of the tour have been removed from the setlist, including “The Archer,” “The 1,” and “Long Live.” On the other hand, she introduced new songs from “The Tortured Poets Department.” See the complete setlist of the first The Eras Tour European show below:

Beyond the updated setlist, Taylor Swift treated the crowd to other surprises. She performed songs from “Folklore” and “Evermore” as part of one era, saying, “The sisters are reunited,” to the screaming fans, “You can call it folkmore or everlore. Whatever you want as long as you sing ‘champagne problems.’” The pop superstar also left fans open-mouthed by speaking in French.

As previously mentioned, Taylor Swift will be performing in Paris for the next three days and will be touring Europe until the end of August.
