Twenty One Pilots’ seventh studio album, “Clancy,” is finally here. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun have worked on this record for the last three years. Released through Fueled by Ramen and Elektra Records, “Clancy” is a visual album that marks the final establishment of the duo’s conceptual series. The album is named after the protagonist of their 2018 album “Trench.” Four singles preceded the LP release: “Overcompensate,” “Next Semester,” “Backslide,” and “The Craving.” Overall, the album comprises thirteen tracks, all written by Joseph and produced with longtime collaborator Paul Meany, for a total length of 47 minutes.
Just like Twenty One Pilots’ previous albums, “Clancy” explores the metaphorical world of “Trench” and the city of “Dema.”
In support of the album, Twenty One Pilots will embark on the Clancy World Tour, set to kick off at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, on August 15th.
As mentioned above, “Clancy” comprises thirteen tracks, and below you can find InMusic’s ranking of the songs.
