Austin City Limits Music Festival reaches its 25th anniversary with a packed Saturday at Zilker Park, and the 2026 schedule saves its biggest clash for the final hours. Lorde and Rüfüs Du Sol headline opposite stages on October 3.
The second day of Weekend One runs from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with performances spread across ACL’s multiple stages. Lorde takes over the T-Mobile stage at 8:15 p.m., while Rüfüs Du Sol begins their American Express stage headline set at 8:30 p.m., creating the night’s unavoidable scheduling conflict.
Before the headliners arrive, the Saturday lineup moves between indie, pop, hip-hop, rock and electronic music. Finn Wolfhard starts the T-Mobile stage at 2 p.m., followed by Suki Waterhouse at 3:05, Lola Young at 4:15, Lykke Li at 5:20 and Lorde at 8:15. Over on American Express, Arcy Drive opens at 2 p.m., with Balu Brigada, Young Miko, Bleachers and Rüfüs Du Sol filling out the stage later in the day.
Rüfüs Du Sol enter the festival following their 2025 performance at Austin’s Q2 Stadium, and their ACL appearance is expected to bring the trio’s large-scale production back to the city.
Lorde, meanwhile, arrives during the Virgin era and has another potential connection to Friday night’s headliner. Charli XCX closed the American Express stage on October 2, meaning both artists are in Austin at the same time. Their recent history includes a performance of “Girl, so confusing” together at Lollapalooza, leaving fans with plenty of room to speculate about whether Charli could appear during Lorde’s set.
Saturday’s official livestream will also give viewers at home several major performances, although Rüfüs Du Sol are notably absent from the published streaming lineup. One feed includes Finn Wolfhard, Suki Waterhouse, Palace, Lola Young, Lykke Li and Lorde, while the other features Arcy Drive, Young Miko, Balu Brigada, Bleachers, Levity and Snow Strippers.
