Roskilde 2026 Schedule: Full Thursday Lineup and Set Times

Roskilde Festival shifts into high gear on Thursday, July 2. From the emotional weight of Ethel Cain to Ken Carson’s first Danish performance and Gorillaz celebrating 25 years on the Orange Scene, the festival offers a packed day stretching well into the early hours of Friday.

The biggest draw arrives at 10:00 PM on the iconic Orange Scene, where Gorillaz headline with a set expected to combine classics from their groundbreaking 2001 debut with material from their latest album, The Mountain. Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s virtual band return to Roskilde eight years after their acclaimed 2018 performance, this time marking their 25th anniversary.

Earlier on the Arena Stage, Ethel Cain takes over at 7:00 PM. Since Preacher’s Daughter became one of the defining alternative albums of 2022, her cinematic songwriting and haunting live performances have earned a devoted following. Thursday’s appearance marks her return to Roskilde after her memorable Danish debut in 2023.

Energy levels shift dramatically at 9:00 PM when Ken Carson makes his first-ever Danish appearance. The Opium Records star is expected to preview songs from xperiment, his new album arriving tomorrow.

Elsewhere, the Orange Scene opens with Danish hip-hop veterans Malk De Koijn at 4:00 PM before Little Simz performs at 6:00 PM. Tobias Rahim closes the stage at 1:00 AM following Gorillaz’ headline set.

Beyond the main venues, Thursday remains packed across Roskilde’s six additional stages. Lykke Li headlines the Eos Stage at 11:30 PM after performances from KWN and Napalm Death, while Cobrah, Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats, and Honningbarna lead the late-night programming on the Lagune Stage.
