The 2026 Asia Star Entertainer Awards officially kicked off on May 16 at Belluna Dome in Saitama, Japan, launching a two-night celebration dedicated to some of the biggest names in K-pop and Asian music. Early winners already include BLACKPINK, YUQI, and ENHYPEN as fans across the world follow the ceremony in real time.
The annual event, abbreviated as ASEA, continues expanding its global profile only two years after launching in 2024. Hosted by South Korean media outlets Newsen and @Style alongside the ASEA Organizing Committee and Japanese fashion platform Zozotown, the ceremony was created to spotlight Asian artists making major international impact through music, touring, streaming, and fan engagement.
The 2026 ceremony is scheduled across two days, May 16 and May 17, with additional awards and performances still expected to be revealed. Organizers previously described ASEA as an event designed to unite artists and fans “through music,” reflecting the increasingly global scale of the Korean entertainment industry.
