BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), and Hwasa emerged as the biggest winners at the 2026 KM Chart Awards, held on July 25 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul. The annual ceremony celebrated the past year in Korean music through a combination of chart performance, album sales, music show achievements, and global fan voting.
Hosted by actors Kang Tae-oh and Won Ji-an, this year’s event brought together many of K-pop’s biggest names for an evening filled with live performances, emotional speeches, and major career milestones. Acts including TXT, CORTIS, LNGSHOT, KickFlip, and others took the stage.
BTS claimed one of the night’s highest honors, taking home the Album of the Year Daesang for ARIRANG.
Hwasa also celebrated a career-defining moment after winning the Song of the Year Daesang for “Good Goodbye.”
TXT enjoyed perhaps the busiest night of all. The quintet earned Artist of the Year while also securing Best Popular Male Group and Best Popular Song for “Stick With You.”
Several newer artists also received major recognition. CORTIS earned Record of the Year for “REDRED,” adding another milestone to their breakout 2026 after scoring a Billboard 200 top-three debut with GreenGreen and launching their first world tour earlier this month. Rookie acts ALPHA DRIVE ONE and LNGSHOT shared the New Artist award.
