LISA kicks off her PRESS PLAY era with “SaWaDiKa,” an explosive new single that puts her Thai heritage at the center of a bass-heavy hip-hop and trap production. Released as the first taste of her upcoming EP, the track arrives with a cinematic music video packed with high-fashion imagery, intense choreography and unmistakable references to Thailand.
“SaWaDiKa” takes its title from “Sawatdee ka,” the traditional Thai greeting, immediately connecting LISA’s latest chapter to her roots. The song turns that greeting into a confident introduction, with the BLACKPINK star delivering rapid-fire rap verses over pounding percussion, sharp synth accents and an infectious rhythmic hook designed for the dance floor.

Lyrically, LISA leans into the confidence and swagger that have defined some of her biggest solo hits. References to luxury watches, Ferraris, wealth and her international success sit alongside lines about discipline, hard work and staying untouchable at the top of her game. The result is a track that feels both celebratory and deeply personal, using LISA’s global status to underline where her story began.
The accompanying music video pushes that idea further. Set across dark, cinematic urban environments inspired by Thailand, the visual moves between gritty street scenes and elaborate fashion-driven sequences, giving LISA plenty of space to command the screen through choreography. Among the standout moments are LISA’s appearance in a black feathered look with a platinum blonde bob on a spiral staircase, golden headdresses inspired by traditional Thai aesthetics and metallic streetwear looks.
“SaWaDiKa? is the first official release from PRESS PLAY, LISA’s six-track EP arriving October 23 through RCA Records under exclusive license from Lloud Co. The project was teased through a carefully constructed campaign that began with a deep-red website featuring the phrase “HELLO สวัสดีค่ะ,” followed by billboards across Bangkok and other major cities.
PRESS PLAY has been described as a celebration of LISA’s journey, from her beginnings in Thailand to her rise as a global pop star. The EP follows her 2025 debut studio album Alter Ego, which opened at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and included “Rockstar,” “New Woman” featuring Rosalía and “Born Again” with Doja Cat and RAYE.
