Jeno and Jaemin are stepping into a new chapter. The two longtime members of NCT Dream have officially launched their first subunit, NCT JNJM, with the debut mini album Both Sides, out now via SM Entertainment.

For fans who have followed their trajectory from trainee days to global tours, the collaboration feels less like a surprise and more like a natural evolution. Jeno and Jaemin have shared a stage for over a decade. Their chemistry is well documented.

The title track, “BOTH SIDES,” anchors the six-song project with glossy hip-hop production and fluid drum patterns. The hook — “She asked me, ‘Which one is your best side?’ I told her, ‘Both sides!’” — distills the album’s core idea. Duality is balance rather than competition. Their contrasting tones, Jeno’s grounded rap delivery and Jaemin’s elastic vocal phrasing, seamlessly move in tandem.

Elsewhere, the EP expands that dynamic. “I.D.O.L.” leans into Miami bass textures, heavy 808 kicks, and a confident lyrical stance that examines idol life from the inside. Across the six tracks, Jeno and Jaemin move from R&B vibes to 2000s Southern hip-hop and hyperpop influences, resulting in a perfect balance of multiple genres.

Fans can now stream NCT JNJM’s Both Sides now and watch the music video for “BOTH SIDES” to experience the duo’s first official chapter.
