The group first teased the cinema event about a month ago, when an announcement directed fans to StrayKidsLiveViewing.com alongside the hashtag #RUN_IT_LIVEVIEWING. The initial post created some confusion among fans, with some speculating that Stray Kids could be preparing to reveal additional tour dates. Instead, the group was preparing to take the concert experience to the big screen.
RUN IT launched in Seoul in July 2026 and has since become one of the group’s biggest touring eras. The opening set moves from “Hall of Fame” into early Stray Kids tracks including “Hellevator” and “District 9,” before reaching major crowd favorites such as “God’s Menu,” “Back Door,” “Thunderous,” “MANIAC” and “S-Class.”
That momentum is also visible on the Billboard charts. THIS & THAT debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 369,000 equivalent album units, including 357,000 traditional album sales. The result marked Stray Kids’ biggest Billboard 200 debut and extended their unprecedented streak of nine consecutive No. 1 debuts from their first nine charting albums.
The group’s streaming numbers further underline the international demand surrounding the era. THIS & THAT generated more than 12.8 million Spotify streams on its first day and approximately 46 million during its opening week, while eight Stray Kids albums have now surpassed 40 million first-week Spotify streams.
The Tokyo Dome cinema broadcast arrives as RUN IT continues across Asia, with upcoming stops in South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand and Singapore through March 2027.
