“RUN IT” set the tone for the new era

Released on June 24, “RUN IT” offered fans the first taste of the album’s direction. Built around booming electronic production, cinematic string arrangements and pounding percussion, the song leaned into Stray Kids’ signature mix of hip-hop, trap and electronic music while delivering one of their most stadium-ready singles to date.

Its cinematic music video amplified that intensity through abandoned industrial landscapes, eclipse-filled skies and synchronized choreography. The single also debuted inside the Daily Global Spotify Top 100, giving the era an immediate streaming boost.

Momentum has only continued to grow

The arrival of This & That follows one of the strongest periods of Stray Kids’ career. Earlier this summer, the group became the first K-pop act to headline Governors Ball in New York before continuing the RUN IT World Tour, which launched in Seoul and stretches across Asia through March 2027 with stops including Tokyo’s National Stadium, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Taipei Dome and Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium.

Fans also received another surprise during STAYweeK with the release of SKZ-REPLAY 2026 Pt.1 on August 1. The 17-track compilation gathered fan-favorite solo songs, previously digital-exclusive releases and live recordings, celebrating both the group’s history and each member’s individual artistry ahead of the new EP.
