KATSEYE officially made history at Lollapalooza 2025, drawing the largest daytime crowd ever recorded at the iconic Chicago festival. On Saturday, August 3, the six-member global girl group took the T‑Mobile Stage at 3:15 p.m. and turned the early afternoon slot into one of the weekend’s most talked-about moments.

From the moment Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae hit the stage, the energy was undeniable. They opened with the live debut of “Gameboy,” a brand-new track from their second EP Beautiful Chaos, before moving into a 10-song set that included their Billboard-charting hits “Gabriela” and “Gnarly.” With slick choreography, strong vocals, and flawless group chemistry, KATSEYE delivered a performance that felt anything but mid-day filler—it was a main event.

Between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., an estimated 85,000 people flooded Grant Park to catch KATSEYE’s set. According to festival organizers, this is the largest early afternoon audience in Lollapalooza’s history, breaking all prior attendance records for that time slot. Their performance was also livestreamed on Weverse and YouTube, extending their impact to a global online audience and further cementing their rising status.

KATSEYE’s Lollapalooza debut was a career milestone. Formed through the HYBE x Geffen global audition program in 2023, the group only debuted in late 2024 but has already built a passionate fanbase across continents. Their second EP Beautiful Chaos, released in June 2025, elevated their profile significantly, with “Gnarly” and “Gabriela” both earning placements on major global charts. Despite a limited discography, their ability to command such a large live crowd shows just how quickly they’ve become a force in pop.
