KATSEYE member Sophia Laforteza paused the group’s set at Lollapalooza Argentina on March 13 to acknowledge an absent bandmate. “Let’s give it up for Manon!” she told the crowd, prompting loud cheers from fans gathered in Buenos Aires.
Sophia’s message carried extra weight. Manon Bannerman has been on hiatus from KATSEYE since February 20, 2026, when the group’s labels — HYBE and Geffen Records — announced she would temporarily step away to focus on her health and wellbeing.
That announcement arrived through a joint statement shared across social media and the fan platform Weverse. The labels confirmed their support for the decision while emphasizing that the six-member group would continue activities during the break.
Manon addressed fans shortly afterward. “I’m healthy, I’m okay, and I’m taking care of myself,” she wrote in a message thanking supporters for checking in and promising she hoped to see them again soon.
South America marked the group’s first major run of performances since the hiatus began. KATSEYE appeared on stage as a five-member lineup featuring Sophia, Yoonchae, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel.
The Lollapalooza stop in Argentina represents the opening leg of a broader South American festival circuit that also includes dates in Chile and Brazil.
