October 2: Victoria Monét, Quavo and Miranda Lambert
Victoria Monét opens the month with Frequency of Love, her first album in three years and the follow-up to the Grammy-winning Jaguar II. Released through Lovett Music/RCA, the project is expected to be an expansive R&B set. D’Mile serves as executive producer, while the guest list includes SZA, Bruno Mars, Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Chlöe and Lucky Daye. Monét’s daughter Hazel also appears on the opening track, “You Mean the World to Me.”
The campaign has already produced “Let Me,” which reached No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay, alongside the Kaytranada-produced “Reach Out” and “Juicy.” A North American headline tour begins later in October and includes a Madison Square Garden date.
Quavo also returns with Qröme Life, his third solo album following Quavo Huncho and 2023’s Rocket Power. Pharrell Williams produced every track, giving the 14-song project a brighter and more experimental direction. The album features Future, Offset, T.I., Lil Baby, Yung Miami and Justin Timberlake, while “Baby Breath” brings together Pharrell, Tyler, the Creator and A$AP Rocky.
Country icon Miranda Lambert rounds out the October 2 lineup with Crisco, her first album since 2024’s Postcards from Texas. Co-produced with Jesse Frasure, the 12-track project takes its title from a combination of “country” and “disco,” reflecting its late-’70s and early-’80s influence. Ella Langley opens the album on “Snakeskin Boots,” Chris Stapleton appears on “A Song to Sing,” and Lambert also covers Jim Croce’s “I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song.”
October 9: Troye Sivan and Dominic Fike
Troye Sivan enters a new chapter with She’s The Best, his fourth studio album and first full-length project since 2023’s Something to Give Each Other. The title track arrived in August and was produced with Jack Antonoff, George Daniel and Styalz Fuego. Its visual stars Nicole Kidman and Sasha Colby.
Dominic Fike follows with How to Quit Smoking, his third album for Columbia. The project was developed unusually closely to his Comedy Tragedy Parody tour, with Fike writing, recording and filming material from hotel rooms, buses and backstage spaces. “Wallflower” arrived in August with a Kevin Abstract-directed video, followed by “Small Town” with Emma Ogier and Gabriel Jacoby in September.
October 16: Fontaines D.C., Rachel Chinouriri and Angèle
Fontaines D.C. move further from their post-punk beginnings on Dopamine Chamber, their fifth album for XL. James Ford returns as producer after Romance, while Grian Chatten has characterized the project as an immersive space where the band can experiment with mood and texture. The 11-track album includes “Marianne,” “Tongue” and “Where Is Gone?” featuring ROSALÍA.
Rachel Chinouriri follows her acclaimed 2024 debut What a Devastating Turn of Events with I Think I Spoke Too Soon. The Parlophone/Atlas Artists project frames change, forgiveness and the freedom to make mistakes through the idea of one long surreal night out. “One Song Away From Crying” leans into glossy synth-pop, while “Make Believe” explores obsession and self-worth. Lucy Dacus and Mary Weitz are among the collaborators.
Belgian pop star Angèle also returns on October 16 with Instinct, her first album in more than four years. The 13-track project arrives through her GGL label via Sony and pushes further into electronic territory, moving between French and English. Justice, Soulwax, Caroline Polachek and SebastiAn contribute to a project led by singles including “What You Want,” “Dis-le” and “Une seule vie.”
October 23: LISA, Anderson .Paak and Cordae, and John Legend
LISA’s Press Play is arguably one of October’s most anticipated releases. The six-track EP marks her first project since 2025’s Alter Ego and arrives through Lloud/RCA. Its campaign began with “Hello / สวัสดีค่ะ” billboards across Bangkok, New York, Los Angeles and Mexico City, establishing a visual connection between her Thai roots and global career.
Lead single “SaWaDiKa” arrived September 3, with Press Play positioned as LISA’s most personal project yet. The song secured a massive streaming success and debuted on the Billboard Hot 100.
Anderson .Paak and Cordae team up for a full-length collaborative album on October 23, building on a partnership that dates back to “RNP” from Cordae’s 2019 debut The Lost Boy. Their later collaborations included “Two Tens” and “Summer Drop,” while the new project takes visual inspiration from Step Brothers. “A Good Day,” which samples Bill Withers, serves as the lead single.
John Legend also returns with Muse, his first full album produced entirely by Pharrell Williams. The 16-track Republic release grew from Legend’s contribution to Clipse’s “The Birds Don’t Sing,” with Pharrell building a project around his voice. Gospel, classic soul, doo-wop, standards, Afrobeat and hip-hop all inform the album, while Pharrell appears on six tracks and Clipse guests on “Bodies on the Floor.” “Daylight” leads the campaign.
October 30: Nickelback and Chloe Qisha
Nickelback close out the month with Everything Under the Sun, their 11th studio album and first since 2022’s Get Rollin’. The Virgin Music release marks their first project following two albums with BMG and was co-produced by Chad Kroeger and longtime collaborator Chris Baseford.
The 12-track record stays rooted in the band’s hard-rock sound, with “Bones for the Crows,” “Rattle the Cage” featuring Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5, “Leave Me Behind” and “Make Me Love You” already released.
London alt-pop artist Chloe Qisha rounds out October with Fantasize, a mixtape arriving through Columbia UK and RCA US after her 2025 EP Modern Romance. Working with Oscar Görres and Caroline Ailin, Qisha previews the project through songs including “So Sad So Hot,” “YDH,” “Surprise Surprise” and “Baby Girl.”
