It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!

The last New Music Friday of September 2025 couldn’t be better! Opening our weekly roundup of new releases is none other than Doja Cat. The Grammy-winning superstar drops her highly anticipated fifth album Vie, marking her return to a more pop-oriented sound after the experimental Scarlet. The record arrives charged by the hit single “Jealous Type,” which peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the biggest Spotify debut of 2025 for a female rapper. Alongside Vie, Doja also releases “Gorgeous” as the second single, while fans’ ears are focused on “Take Me Dancing,” her second collaboration with SZA after the timeless “Kiss Me More.”

Just a few months after the massive success of her third album So Close To What, Tate McRae surprises fans by releasing a brand-new single titled “Tit For Tat.” Currently on the North American leg of her Miss Possessive Tour, the Canadian superstar has enjoyed a memorable first half of 2025, defining the year with some of the most-streamed tracks, including “Sports Car,” “Revolving Door,” and “Just Keep Watching.” Now, she’s ready to dominate the final season of the year as well.

Mariah Carey makes her long-awaited return with Here for It All, her sixteenth studio album. Arriving via her own imprint Mariah in partnership with Gamma, the album marks the pop icon’s first new material since 2018’s Caution. Preceded by “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet,” the album drops on a significant date: September 26, 2025, which falls exactly 30 years after the release of Daydream, the 1995 classic that produced “Fantasy” and “One Sweet Day.”

Rap fans are also getting some fresh new music. After several delays and setbacks, Young Thug finally launches his fourth studio album UY Scuti. Marking his first full-length release since 2023’s Business Is Business, the album carries extra weight as it is the rapper’s first project since his release from prison in October 2024. With just a few hours to go, the tracklist remains strictly under wraps, but Lil Baby, Future, Mariah Carey, 21 Savage, and even Travis Scott are expected to make guest appearances.

Noteworthy releases also come from Zara Larsson, 5 Seconds of Summer, Khalid, Olivia Dean, Perrie, Florence + The Machine, Tame Impala, Polo G, and more.
