Summer is flying by, and with July already approaching its midpoint, another packed New Music Friday is set to soundtrack the season.
Future leads this week’s schedule with The Real Me, his long-awaited tenth studio album and first solo full-length since I Never Liked You in 2022. Released through Freebandz and Epic Records, the 22-track project arrives after the Atlanta rapper dominated 2024 alongside Metro Boomin on the chart-topping collaborative albums We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You. The new record also marks his first major release following the death of longtime friend and collaborator Young Scooter.
K-pop fans also have plenty to anticipate as YEONJUN releases No Labels: Part 02 through BIGHIT MUSIC. The TOMORROW X TOGETHER member continues building his solo identity with a project designed to showcase his versatility beyond the group.
Meanwhile, Role Model enters a new chapter with “Joy,” the latest preview of his upcoming album Chuck Timely & The Hourglass. Released via Interscope Records, the single pairs bright, infectious melodies with the deeply personal songwriting that has become the singer-songwriter’s signature. The release is accompanied by a cinematic music video.
