The appointment marks her first major involvement with the event in nearly a decade. For 2026, Beyoncé joins Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and longtime Met Gala steward Anna Wintour to lead the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s most prestigious annual event. The upcoming edition, set for Monday, May 4, will embrace the theme Costume Art, highlighting the evolution of fashion as a form of artistic expression.
In addition, committee features stars like Sabrina Carpenter, Doja Cat, BLACKPINK’s LISA, Sam Smith and Teyana Taylor.
