The 2026 Global Citizen Festival has officially revealed its lineup, bringing together some of music’s biggest names for this year’s annual benefit concert in New York City. Ms. Lauryn Hill & Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Shaboozey and TOMORROW X TOGETHER are set to perform on September 26 at Central Park’s Great Lawn.

Hosted by Hugh Jackman, the event will also feature appearances from Rachel Brosnahan and Gayle King, with additional guests expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The festival once again combines live music with global advocacy, encouraging fans to take action on issues related to education, food security and clean energy.

One of the biggest highlights of the lineup will be Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean’s celebration of the 30th anniversary of The Fugees’ landmark album The Score. The performance follows their recent reunion at Diaspora Calling! in the United Kingdom, where they revisited classics including “Ready or Not” and “Fu-Gee-La” in front of more than 35,000 attendees.

K-pop will also have a major presence with TOMORROW X TOGETHER joining the lineup, while country star Lainey Wilson makes her Global Citizen Festival debut alongside fellow chart-toppers Shaboozey, John Legend and Lenny Kravitz.

Beyond the performances, the 2026 campaign aims to drive measurable global impact. Organizers hope to create educational opportunities for 2 million children, support 1.5 million smallholder farmers, and help provide electricity to 2.5 million homes through partnerships with governments, businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Fans can attend the festival for free by completing advocacy actions through the Global Citizen app or website and entering the ticket lottery. For the first time, supporters who earn enough points may also choose to secure a ticket instantly by making a $25 charitable donation. Proceeds from that initiative will benefit New York City’s City Parks Foundation and organizations assisting people experiencing homelessness across the five boroughs.

The announcement follows the success of the inaugural FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show produced by Global Citizen, which helped raise $60 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. According to organizers, this year’s event will continue building on that momentum by mobilizing public support around ending extreme poverty through collective action.
