JENNIE has reached a new milestone in the United States, becoming the first female K-pop soloist to earn multiple Platinum certifications from the RIAA. The latest update confirms that “Like JENNIE” has officially surpassed 1 million units sold, securing its Platinum status.
The achievement builds on her earlier success with “One of the Girls,” her collaboration with The Weeknd, which also reached Platinum. With two songs now crossing the 1 million mark, JENNIE stands alone among female K-pop soloists in the U.S. market, extending a record she first established in 2025.
Momentum for this milestone has been building steadily. Nearly a year ago, “Like JENNIE” and “Mantra” were both certified Gold, each surpassing 500,000 units, while “One of the Girls” had already secured its own certification. That gave her three RIAA-recognized singles, the highest total for any K-pop soloist at the time.
The new Platinum certification elevates that trajectory. Alongside “Like JENNIE” and “One of the Girls,” JENNIE also holds Gold awards for “Mantra” and “ExtraL,” bringing her total U.S. sales to approximately 3 million units. That figure makes her the top-selling female K-pop soloist in the country.
Much of that success is tied to her debut solo album Ruby. Released to strong global demand, the project debuted in the top 10 across 19 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, and South Korea. In her home market, Ruby sold more than 660,000 copies in its first week.
Its singles have also delivered measurable chart impact. “Mantra” reached No. 3 on the Billboard Global 200, while “Like JENNIE” climbed to No. 5 and secured a No. 1 on the Circle Digital Chart. Award recognition followed, with wins at the Asian Pop Music Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Korean Music Awards, alongside nominations at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
