BLACKPINK’s comeback is nearly here. During a fan interaction outside the First Ride premiere in Seoul, JISOO revealed that the group has almost finished filming the music video for their next single — sending fans into a frenzy of excitement.
“Comeback preparations…?? It’s almost done! We filmed the music video,” JISOO wrote. “You’re surprised, right? I’m surprised too!! Wow.”

Her update follows YG Entertainment’s recent confirmation that JENNIE, LISA, JISOO, and ROSÉ began filming the video earlier this month. According to YG, BLACKPINK has been working intensively to ensure their next release lives up to expectations. “To deliver the best results, both the members and staff will do their utmost until the end of the schedule,” the label said in a statement.
While details about the new single remain under wraps, the update further builds anticipation for the group’s highly anticipated third full-length album, which YG described as being in its “final stage” of production. The upcoming album will mark BLACKPINK’s first full-group project since Born Pink in 2022, an era that produced chart-topping hits like “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down.”
Earlier this year, BLACKPINK returned with “Jump,” a standalone single that dominated charts worldwide. The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and earned the group their tenth entry on the Billboard Hot 100. It also secured three nominations at the upcoming 2025 MAMA Awards, including Song of the Year.
The music video news comes as BLACKPINK continues their Deadline World Tour, which has drawn massive crowds across Asia and beyond. Following three sold-out nights at Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium, the group will head to Jakarta for two shows on November 1 and 2.
