KATSEYE launched their first South American festival run with a high-energy performance at Lollapalooza Argentina on March 13. The show, held at Hipódromo de San Isidro in Buenos Aires, marked the group’s first concert since Manon Bannerman began a temporary hiatus in February.

Five members took the stage. Sophia Laforteza, Yoonchae, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj and Megan Skiendiel delivered a tightly choreographed set that blended material from their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) with tracks from their recent project BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.

Several moments stood out during the performance. KATSEYE leaned into elaborate dance breaks during the Grammy-nominated tracks “Gabriela” and “Gnarly.”

Midway through the show, Sophia paused to acknowledge the missing sixth member. “Let’s give it up for Manon!” she told the audience, prompting a wave of cheers and chants that echoed across the festival grounds.

The Buenos Aires appearance served as the opening chapter of the group’s first major festival run across South America. The schedule continues quickly. KATSEYE is set to perform next at Lollapalooza Chile on March 14, followed by Lollapalooza Brasil the following week. The group will also headline Festival Estéreo Picnic in Bogotá, Colombia, on March 20.
