Katy Perry is finally back on stage with the Lifetimes Tour, her first headlining tour in seven years. The first show took place on April 23 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, where Katy performed two more shows on April 25 and 26. After the first leg in Mexico, which included two dates in Monterrey, the singer is now back in the United States, kicking off the first North American leg in Houston. The Lifetimes Tour not only supports her sixth album, 143, but also celebrates her decade-spanning career. In fact, the 40-year-old pop icon performs new tracks such as “Woman’s World” and “I’m His, He’s Mine,” as well as timeless hits like “I Kissed a Girl” and “Roar.”

The first concert of the tour featured a couple of notable surprises. First, Katy appeared to tease her seventh studio album, KP7, which is rumored to be announced at the end of the tour this fall. One of the stage screens displayed “KP7” alongside a lock. Another surprise was the audience’s involvement in choosing songs for the set. Katy introduced the “Choose Your Own Adventure” segment, where fans could vote for two songs via QR code for her to perform.
