Lady Gaga recently looked back on her 2013 album ARTPOP in an interview with Zane Lowe, describing it as a project that challenged expectations and pushed boundaries. “It was very disruptive. It was not easy listening,” Gaga said during the interview. “It was me saying, ‘I’ll do what I want, I’ll do it my way.’ What’s so interesting is I always did that, but that record, to viewers, was so defiant.”
