Leigh-Anne Pinnock has officially announced her long-awaited debut album. The 34-year-old British singer took to social media to reveal that her first full-length record, titled My Ego Told Me To, will be released on February 20, 2026.
“Guys… I can finally say that after two years in the making, my debut album MY EGO TOLD ME TO is out 20th February, 2026!” Leigh-Anne wrote in her announcement post, confirming that the project has been a labor of love years in the making.

Alongside the album news, Leigh-Anne also unveiled plans for a headline tour across the UK and Europe, kicking off in April 2026. Fans in the UK and Ireland can gain presale access by pre-ordering the album from her official store before October 23, while fans across Europe can access presale tickets by signing up to her mailing list before October 21.
In her heartfelt statement, the former Little Mix member reflected on the challenges and triumphs that shaped her journey to this moment. “The journey to this moment hasn’t been smooth,” she shared. “I’ve navigated going solo after over 10 years in a group, left a label, and gone independent. It feels like I’ve started from the beginning twice, but I truly believe everything has happened exactly how it was supposed to. I’m saying no to expectations, no to categories, and no to boxes — this is me reclaiming my power. It’s raw, unfiltered, and everything I imagined my debut album would be.”
The announcement follows a series of exciting moves from Leigh-Anne over the past year. After departing Warner Records in early 2025, she partnered with Virgin Music Group as an independent artist, marking a new era of creative freedom. Her comeback single, “Been a Minute,” released in July, was met with enthusiastic praise from fans, quickly becoming a summer favorite. The track arrived shortly after her debut solo EP, No Hard Feelings (2024), a five-song collection celebrating her Barbadian and Jamaican roots.
By going independent, Leigh-Anne took full creative control. Though details about the album’s tracklist and collaborators are still under wraps, Leigh-Anne has teased that the project represents “the most honest version of myself — no filter, no fear.” It’s confirmed that the LP will feature 15 tracks, including “Been a Minute” and “Burning Up”
