Louis Tomlinson is entering his 2026 era with undeniable momentum. His new single “Palaces” has been crowned the best new release of the week, securing an overwhelming 91.2% of the vote in our latest fan poll. The track outperformed every other major release by a wide margin, easily surpassing 5 Seconds of Summer’s Everyone’s A Star! at 4.97% and Summer Walker’s Finally Over It at 1.53%. The result reflects a surge of enthusiasm as Tomlinson prepares to unveil his third studio album, How Did I Get Here?

This is the second time in just a month that Tomlinson has dominated the weekly poll. In early October, his lead single “Lemonade” captured 91% of all votes, cementing the steady and unwavering support of his global fan base.

“Palaces” arrives as the latest preview of How Did I Get Here?, set for release on January 23, 2026. The album features 12 new tracks, produced by Nico Rebscher, and marks what Tomlinson has described as his “most optimistic” body of work yet. Written during an extended stay in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, the record draws from a period of personal recalibration, where Tomlinson found renewed clarity, calm, and purpose.

His upcoming album follows the success of Faith in the Future (2022), which debuted at No. 1 in the UK and No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
