Madison Beer used a pre-show Q&A in Paris to spotlight two artists she believes deserve far more attention. Just hours before continuing The Locket Tour in Madrid, the singer gave candid praise to Ashnikko and ADÈLA, offering a glimpse into the music currently shaping her own listening rotation.
Speaking with fans ahead of her recent Paris stop, Beer was asked which artists she feels are still underappreciated despite their talent. Her answer quickly sparked conversation online.
“I really like Ashnikko, even though she’s not really underground, but she deserves more recognition,” Beer said. She then turned her attention to ADÈLA, adding: “I love ADÈLA too. ‘SexOnTheBeat’ is all I listen to while getting ready, it’s so good.”
The co-sign arrives at a significant moment for Beer, who is currently in the middle of her most ambitious live era yet. The Locket Tour officially launched on May 11 at Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland, opening with a 24-song set designed as a theatrical extension of her chart-breaking third studio album locket.
From the opening sequence of “yes baby” into “15 MINUTES” and “BOYSHIT,” the production has leaned heavily into cinematic staging and narrative-driven transitions.
Beer’s creative evolution has mirrored the commercial momentum surrounding locket. Released on January 16, 2026, the project debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200, marking Beer’s first top-ten album in the United States while also reaching the top ten across several international markets, including the U.K.
Beer previously explained that she wanted each Locket Tour performance to feel distinct. “There’s a proper storyline and concept to them,” she said ahead of opening night, underscoring her commitment to building a more immersive live experience.
