The nominations for the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards are in, and Megan Thee Stallion leads the pack. The rapper, who has dominated the year with viral hits like “BOA” and “Mamushi” from her first independent album Megan, received twelve nominations, including Song of the Year and Hip Hop Album of the Year. Kendrick Lamar closely follows with eleven nods, three of which are for “Not Like Us.” Drake, Cardi B, GloRilla, Nicki Minaj, Future, and Travis Scott have also earned multiple nominations.
Celebrating the best in the hip-hop scene over the past year, the 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards will take place in Las Vegas on October 8, with Fat Joe serving as host. The show will air the following week, on October 15, on BET at 8 PM ET.
