Olivia Rodrigo is keeping details about her next musical chapter firmly under wraps. While attending the Chloé Autumn/Winter 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week on Thursday, March 5, the singer-songwriter briefly addressed the status of her highly anticipated third studio album — but stopped short of revealing its title.
Rodrigo arrived at the Paris runway presentation wearing a flowing Pre-Fall 2026 chiffon dress with lace ruffles, paired with layered gold charm necklaces. The appearance quickly drew attention from fashion photographers and entertainment reporters alike. Yet it was her comments about new music that sparked the most curiosity.
During a short exchange with reporters, Rodrigo was first asked whether pink might signal the aesthetic direction of her upcoming era, noting that the singer has frequently been spotted wearing the color in recent appearances. Rodrigo offered a simple explanation. She said she has just been feeling “girly” lately, declining to frame the wardrobe choices as a deliberate artistic hint.
When the conversation turned more directly to the album itself, the pop star was equally careful. Asked whether she could reveal the title of the project, Rodrigo responded with a smile: “You think I’m gonna give that away right now? No no no, I’m keeping that close to the chest.”
Hints about Rodrigo’s next project have slowly surfaced in recent weeks. In late February, longtime collaborator Dan Nigro shared a studio photo captioned simply “Finishing records…,” prompting speculation that new material had already been delivered to Interscope Records.
Nigro has been central to Rodrigo’s creative identity, co-writing and producing much of her catalog. Her debut album SOUR spawned global hits including “drivers license” and “good 4 u.” The follow-up, GUTS, arrived in 2023 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album also produced major singles such as “vampire” and “bad idea right?”, while the accompanying world tour became a global box office success. Industry estimates placed the tour’s gross at more than $200 million worldwide, a remarkable figure for an artist still early in her career.
