Olivia Rodrigo may be entering a new era sooner than expected. The pop superstar has sparked fresh speculation about her third studio album after fans noticed a subtle but deliberate clue hidden in a new TikTok video shared via her official fan account.
The clip, captioned “getting our last minute gift requests in for Santa,” appears playful on the surface. However, sharp-eyed fans quickly zeroed in on the video’s text, which reads: “santa PLEASE olivia rOdrigo merch live from glastonbuRy vinyl 3 olivia charms.” The unusual capitalization immediately raised eyebrows. The emphasized “PLEASE” and the capitalized letters in “rOdrigo” and “glastonbuRy” appear to spell out “OR3,” a shorthand many fans now associate with Rodrigo’s highly anticipated third album.
While Rodrigo has not officially confirmed the tease, the timing feels intentional, especially given her recent comments about enjoying the speculation surrounding her next project.
In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, the 22-year-old artist addressed the growing excitement around OR3 with humor and openness. She revealed that she frequently sees fan theories about album titles and concepts, calling the process “so fun.” Although she shut down rumors about a possible album title called Card, Rodrigo emphasized how meaningful it is to see listeners so invested in her creative journey.
The “drivers license” hitmaker also offered insight into her songwriting process, noting that touring can make writing more difficult. She explained that she feels most inspired when she is at home and grounded, rather than constantly on the road.
The teasing arrives after a massive period of success for the singer. Her sophomore album, Guts, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earned six Grammy nominations, and produced chart-dominating singles like “Vampire” and “Bad Idea Right?” The supporting Guts World Tour grossed over $200 million and becoming the highest-grossing tour by a 21st-century-born artist.
