RAYE has officially announced her long-awaited sophomore album, confirming a new chapter that has been years in the making. On January 22, the British singer-songwriter revealed that her second full-length project is titled This Music May Contain Hope and will be released on March 27.
The album will feature 17 tracks, including the BRIT-nominated single “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”, which became a defining hit of her post-debut era. While the full tracklist has not yet been unveiled, additional details will be shared in the coming weeks.
The announcement follows months of careful buildup. In late December 2025, RAYE confirmed the album was finished, describing the project as deeply personal and creatively fulfilling. In a message sent directly to fans, she expressed confidence in the material and hinted that the final stages of the process were already underway.
This Music May Contain Hope arrives after the extraordinary impact of My 21st Century Blues, RAYE’s independent debut album released in 2023. The record transformed her career, earning widespread critical praise and commercial success while culminating in a record-breaking night at the 2024 BRIT Awards.
Momentum continued through 2025. “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” became a global hit, peaking at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart and reaching the top 10 in multiple international markets. The song also marked her second top-40 entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Earlier this week, RAYE also received the Recording Academy’s Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change Award for “Ice Cream Man,” officially joining the ranks of Grammy-honored artists.
In parallel with the album rollout, RAYE has launched THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC, a 40-date headline tour that begins January 22.
