What began as a simple webpage listing a user’s top songs has grown into a multi-layered interactive experience designed to celebrate individuality and spark social connection. Wrapped has become so synonymous with December that fans often measure time by when Spotify releases it.



Wrapped 2025 follows Spotify’s recent pattern of early-December rollouts. After soft teases in late November—including QR codes encouraging app updates and push notifications alerting users that “Wrapped is on the way”—the feature now appears globally on mobile home screens.

Another major innovation is the “Fan Leaderboard,” which shows listeners where they rank among an artist’s global fanbase based on total minutes streamed.

Accessing Spotify Wrapped 2025 is simple and mobile-first. Users should first ensure their Spotify app is up to date. Spotify pushed this requirement through both email reminders and in-app alerts urging listeners to update for the “best experience.” Once updated, Wrapped automatically appears on the home screen as a featured carousel. Tapping the banner launches the story-style experience. If it does not appear immediately, users may need to restart the app or wait for the rollout to reach their region.
