In fact, “Cruel Summer” alone has amassed more than 2.9 billion streams and saw a massive resurgence in 2023, becoming a No. 1 hit years after its initial release.
Lover is now Taylor Swift’s most streamed album to date and the fourth album by a female artist to hit 13 billion streams, following Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR and Dua Lipa’s self-titled and Future Nostalgia.
