Tyla is ready to set the summer on fire with her debut mixtape We Wanna Party, dropping tonight via FAX and Epic Records. The project continues Tyla’s rise to global stardom, a journey launched by her self-titled debut album. That record featured the smash hit “Water,” which made history as the first song to win the Grammy for Best African Music Performance. Now, the 23-year-old singer is ready to heat up the season with We Wanna Party. Here’s everything you need to know about Tyla’s debut mixtape.

Tyla officially announced We Wanna Party in July with a presave link, and fans haven’t stopped buzzing since. The mixtape follows two lead singles: “Bliss,” featured in a Coca-Cola global ad campaign, and “IS IT,” a sleek, Amapiano-infused dance track that dropped on July 11 alongside a music video. The visual shows Tyla in top form—radiating desire, confidence, and hypnotic choreography reminiscent of her viral “Water” performance.
At a recent fan-exclusive listening session in Berlin, Tyla previewed two additional new songs: “Dynamite” and “Chanel,” both hinting at the club-ready appeal of the full project. However, “Chanel” didn’t make the final cut. We Wanna Party features just four tracks: “Dynamite,” “Mr Media,” “IS IT,” and “Bliss.” Notably, WizKid appears as a featured artist on “Dynamite.”
