Tyla is officially entering her next musical era. The South African hitmaker has announced her brand-new single “Chanel”, set to arrive on October 24. “PUT HER IN MF CHANELLLLLLLL,” the 23-year-old singer wrote on social media, confirming the news and sharing a pre-save link across all major streaming platforms. “We did our big one,” she added on Instagram.

The announcement comes just months after Tyla released her second EP, WWP (We Wanna Party), in July — a vibrant, genre-blending project that bridged the gap between her debut album and her next full-length record. Featuring tracks like “Bliss,” “Is It,” and “Dynamite” (with Wizkid), the EP saw Tyla experiment more deeply with her signature amapiano-infused pop and R&B sound.
“Chanel” was first previewed during Tyla’s WWP listening event in Berlin this summer, and was expected to appear on the EP, but was ultimately cut.
The single also arrives ahead of Tyla’s upcoming We Wanna Party Tour, which kicks off November 11 in Tokyo before heading to London, Paris, Johannesburg, and New York.
