Zara Larsson has officially revealed the featured artists for Midnight Sun: Girls Trip, a deluxe edition arriving May 1, 2026, framed as a full-scale reinvention rather than a standard add-on.
Unveiled through a vibrant teaser built around summery visuals and pop-up merch stands, the announcement confirmed a wide-ranging lineup: PinkPantheress, Kehlani, JT, Margo XS, Emilia, Madison Beer, BAMBII, Shakira, Tyla, Malibu, Eli, Robyn, and Helena Gao. Alongside the reveal, Larsson wrote, “GIRLS TRIP!!!!!! I can’t believe it’s happening. The best summer ever starts May 1st!!!!”
Instead of simply appending bonus material, the project reconstructs all 10 tracks from Midnight Sun with new collaborators, transforming the album into a shared pop statement. The concept leans into a celebratory, all-female synergy, echoing recent remix-driven rollouts while pushing further into full-album reimagination.
That approach builds on the momentum of Midnight Sun, released September 26, 2025. The album debuted at No. 1 in Sweden, marking Larsson’s third chart-topper in her home country, and landed inside the top 20 across several European markets. Its title track later earned a nomination for Best Dance Pop Recording at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, a first for the artist.
