Cardi B has surprise-released a new song, “Don’t Chart,” for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, officially confirming her involvement in Rockstar Games’ upcoming soundtrack. The rapper announced the track just before midnight, with the release arriving after days of speculation sparked by cryptic social media activity and a brief leak of the soundtrack’s unrevealed artists.

The surprise drop follows Cardi B’s October 7 post featuring the exact gray “BADDIE” shirt worn by Lucia in GTA VI’s Extended Gameplay trailer. Accompanied only by a sunglasses emoji, the image immediately fueled theories that the rapper was connected to the game’s music rollout. With “Don’t Chart” now released, the post appears to have been an early clue to her participation.

Rumors intensified earlier this week when Spotify briefly listed Cardi B as the artist behind Track 19 on GTA VI: The Album. The listing appeared between October 4 and 5 before being removed, alongside a separate listing that named Fuerza Regida for Track 10. Neither artist’s involvement had been officially confirmed at the time, leaving fans to speculate about the soundtrack’s remaining contributors.

“Don’t Chart” arrives as part of an ambitious music project tied to one of the most anticipated video games of the decade. Rockstar Games announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17 in partnership with Atlantic Records, revealing plans for a 34-track collection of original recordings. The soundtrack is scheduled to arrive digitally on November 19, the same day as the game.

The announced songs include Yung Lean’s “That’s It” featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott’s “RHYNO,” “Sexy Magic” by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso with PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy, Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need,” Rauw Alejandro’s “Macacoa 2000” and Keith Richards’ “Bright Lights, Big City.”
