Future has reached another major career milestone as The Real Me debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album opens with 131,000 equivalent album units earned, giving the Atlanta rapper his 12th chart-topping album and extending his place among the most successful artists in Billboard history.
The achievement moves Future ahead of Eminem, who has 11 No. 1 albums, making him the rapper with the third-most Billboard 200 No. 1 albums ever. Only Drake and Taylor Swift with 15 each, JAY-Z with 14, and The Beatles with 19 have collected more chart-topping albums across all genres.
Released on July 10 through Freebandz and Epic Records, The Real Me marks Future’s first solo studio album since 2022’s I Never Liked You, which also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 222,000 equivalent album units. The new project arrives after a period where Future continued dominating the charts through his collaborations with Metro Boomin on We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, both of which reached No. 1 in 2024.
The album’s commercial momentum was visible from its first day. The Real Me generated 23.8 million Spotify streams on release day, becoming the sixth-biggest first-day debut for a rap album released in 2026 and Future’s fifth-largest opening day on the platform.
Unlike several of Future’s previous blockbuster releases, the 22-track album contains no guest features, allowing the rapper to carry the entire project independently.
Elsewhere on this week’s Billboard 200, Olivia Rodrigo’s you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love remains at No. 2 with 96,000 equivalent album units, while Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem rises to No. 3 with 73,000 units. Ella Langley’s Dandelion follows at No. 4 with nearly 73,000 units, and Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide climbs to No. 5 with 67,000 units.
The Rolling Stones’ Foreign Tongues debuts at No. 7 with 53,000 equivalent album units, extending the band’s record for the most top 10 albums in Billboard 200 history with their 39th top 10 entry. The Heated Rivalry soundtrack also enters the chart at No. 9 following its CD and vinyl release.
