Latto isn’t losing sleep over the speculation — she’s turning it into a punchline. In her new song, “Business & Personal (Intro),” the lead single off her forthcoming fourth studio album BIG MAMA, the Atlanta rapper addressed fan theories that Drake has been ghostwriting her verses, and her response was characteristically unbothered.

The rumors have shadowed Latto since her third album Sugar Honey Ice & Tea dropped in 2024. Tracks like “Big Mama,” “Georgia Peach,” and “S/O to Me” sparked widespread chatter across social media, Genius annotations, and hip-hop forums, with fans flagging what they described as “Drake-coded” writing. Given the two artists’ documented friendship and prior collaborative history, the theory wasn’t entirely without fuel. Still, Latto has never needed a co-sign to build her catalog, and she made that clear in a single line. “Oh they think crodie wrote it? That’s a compliment,” she raps in “Business & Personal (Intro).”

The timing of the clapback lands inside one of the biggest weeks of her career. On March 20, 2026, Latto announced BIG MAMA, confirmed her pregnancy via the album’s cover art, and released “Business & Personal (Intro)” alongside a full music video. The rollout collapsed months of personal speculation into a single coordinated moment, with 21 Savage appearing in the visual as confirmation of their relationship. BIG MAMA is scheduled for May 29, 2026 via RCA Records, and marks her first full-length project since 2023.
